1.Connect the power supply and press the power switch;
2.When the LED of front panel flashes and the corresponding buzzer buzzes, Mostfun Pro has been booted correctly.
1.Choose the rotary switch and select “Refill & levelling” — “Refill & test”;
2.Now, the extruder will move to central platform from the initial position automatically and begin to heat the extruder for 1-2 minutes (as shown in the picture). Wait until the nozzle temperature reaches 200℃ (the button becomes white and red). Click “Next”;
3.Refer to the information prompts on screen. Please check whether there is any residual filaments in the feed port of extruder. If any, press down the rocker with one hand and pull out consumables with the other, until residual filaments are pulled out;
4.Lead one end of the consumables into a clear feed pipe and a guide clip, through an extruder feed port, into the extruder (as shown in the picture). Press down the rocker with one hand and insert new consumables into the feed port with the other, until materials are pressed when the rocker is loosened. Later, lead the feed pipe into the guide clip, insert it into the feed port and fix it; Notes: Please check whether the feed pipe and feed pipe support are properly installed before inserting consumables.
5.Click “Test” until filament are extruded out of the nozzle. Click “OK”.
Due to shipment and other uncontrollable factors, the relative position between platform and nozzle may change after leaving the factory. So we suggest that you conduct a auto-levelling when using Mostfun Pro 3D printer for the first time.
Notes: Before auto-leveling, please make sure the build plate is clean without sundry, and is completely fixed on the platform pins.
The specific operation is as follows: operate the rotary switch, select “Refill & leveling”— “Auto leveling”— “Start”.
After running a auto-leveling program, the extruder will stop at about 1 mm above the midpoint of build plate (the nozzle is 1mm from the build plate). If the distance is 1 mm, click “Apply”. If you find the distance has a big deviation, or you are not sure whether the current distance is 1 mm, then select “Adjust”, move the platform up and down using the rotary switch (the red arrow stands for selected. Press down the rotary switch to execute). Adjust the distance between nozzle and platform, until the distance between nozzle and platform is 0.1 mm (the nozzle just doesn’t contact the build plate, or the distance between platform and nozzle can only hold a common A4 printing paper. Pauses may be felt when dragging. After completing the above, click “Apply”.
Notes: After calibration, the distance between nozzle and platform is 0.1 mm (not 1 mm).
After a successful auto-leveling, there is no need for leveling and calibration in subsequent printings. Users can load a model file and print directly. For details, please refer to http://mostfun.cn/auto-levelling/.
Gluing the build plate
To glue a printed model to the build plate more firmly, it is necessary to daub with a special glue stick made by Mostfun Pro.
When gluing the plate, the following points must be noted:
1.Before taking out a build plate, make sure the heated bed is in a cooling state.
2. Please take out the build plate from the machine and then use the glue. Don’t glue the inside of machine directly.
3.The coating area should be larger than the bottom of printed model.
4.When printing, the extruder will print a line between two screws on the build plate, to squeeze out residual materials. So before printing, it is necessary to daub some glue between two screws on the plate.
Starting to print
1.Operate the rotary switch and enter “Local files”;
2.After clicking and entering, select a pre-saved gcode file in the internal storage space of printer (not an external SD card or external U-disk). Select a model and press down the rotary switch to confirm selection;
3.Select “Print” button to confirm printing. Start to print after the buzzer buzzing;
4.Enter the following printing interface. Start to print automatically when the nozzle is heated to a certain temperature (a set temperature when the model gcode is generated);
5.Wait until the end of printing. Take out the build plate from the machine and remove the model with a spatula.
